NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTRE

The National Cooperative Data Bank (NCDB) serves as a nodal agency/central bureau of cooperative information system in the country. The prime function of the Centre is to sensitise the policy makers and planners by highlighting the sectoral trends through data analysis of highest quality. As many as six soft wares modules of credit and non-credit sector have been developed and are being used by the cooperative training institutions. The main activity of the NRC is to publish Indian Cooperative Movement – A Profile.


INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The NCUI has promoted a full-fledged department of IT equipped with all modern tools to promote the usage of latest information. The IT Centre also aims to extend the support to member organisations in their configuration design, besides providing the computer training to their personnel. The Centre also assits the cooperative organisations in designing their projects, in addition to undertaking the work related to developing their websites. The Centre identifies the areas of computerisation and IT applications to streamline the working systems of cooperatives besides developing a network of cooperative information system providing common RDBMS software to strengthen their Management Information System (MIS).
